Karim Salgado owns Carmelina’s Taqueria, located at the UCSF Parnassus campus. They are still open and primarily serve the medical staff there. It would be a nice gesture if we could come together and buy some gift cards to give to the first responders or something along those lines.

I own Mapamundi Kids in Noe Valley. I send a weekly newsletter which I’m now doing more often since I’ve had to move my business to online only. In yesterday’s letter I included a roundup of other local businesses (mostly kid focused ones) who are offering discounts or could just use some love! Prairie in the Mission has converted its restaurant into a general store. You can pre-order on its website or just show up and grab what you need. There’s no line and everything is priced regularly. They even have toilet paper. The owner/chef is trying to support the community and his restaurant staff.
